Tess got worked out and ridden and it was a GO for her new owner from Eureka - Kera. Tess will be the cow pony she was meant to be - racing around barrels and other competitions.

Tess is an 11 year old QH maybe Mustang cross. She stands around 14.2. She is up to date on everythings and in great health.

Tess has come such a long way since her rescue, is extremely people friendly and always nickers and loves to greet visitors. Very healthy, a super easy keeper, lunges, ties, not spooky, excellent bare feet, teeth have been floated. Two trainers have worked with her and think she will make a great little barrel or reining horse or just a fun trail horse.

She's quick, quite sensitive and responsive, and a very fast learner. At this stage of her career, Tess makes sure she tests her rider, which makes her unsuitable for the foster family to keep her as a family/kids' horse. With consistent work however, Tess will most likely shed her testy habits (primarily testy bucking when ridden in an arena) and make someone a great companion. She's quiet and polite when riding on the trail or out of the arena and really, really wants to please and have a leader. Adoption fee $300
