Auction August 9

Contestant Number 1:

Nightingale - A beautiful 10 yr old - very well cared for TB mare. Never raced. She sold for .15 cents a lb - bidding against the meat man. Well trained to ride and safe for beginners. Help us spread the word and find her a home soon!

She does need her teeth floated; which SAFER will do right away, as well as shots.

This life presented to you because JACKIE S up in Lake County called to become a foster and JESSICA ARMSTRONG (trimmer) drove a friends rig all the way to Petaluma to bring her home.

Call SAFER at 707-824-9543 for more information on how to visit with Gale.

I can dodge a bullet better than that Roadrunner! Or maybe I have 9 lives. I can't wait to show the world what a great little family horse I can be. Just give me a chance!

Contestant Number 2:

Whizzard: A little sorrel stud, about 4 yrs old. About 14.3. Missed the meat man three times now. (Spoke with his previous owner). He is hungry and timid. Apparantly untrained and probably never had his feet done before. He is not a bad looking guy at all - needs groceries and attention and some muscle. Sound. He deserves a chance. And he will get one. Scheduled for castration. Jackie is working with him every day.

Another life brought to you by JACKIE and JESSICA.

Costs to get these two their new lives will be about $900; including auction costs. Please help us with this so we can continue this work. Hit the paypal button on the front page of the website and designate your donation. Or send snail mail to:
