Cisco - Our beloved Family horse....

He is 21, 15.2, weight 1050. He had a month of training with Art Grunig many years ago.  He has been ridden in the arena maybe 10 times. He is chestnut with a little white- He is very loving and willing. He has been with the same owner his whole life.

- He is sound, ties, clips, and stands great for farrier.
-He is up to date on vacines and is an easy keeper.
-To good home only asking small adoption fee.

Cisco came to us when he was 17 months old from a not so great situation.  He was frightened as he didn't have a lot of handling up to that point.  My husband did groundwork with him and we could tell he was going to be the horse for us.  We sent him to a trainer for a month and when he got back home we started working with him again.  We had great expectations to work with him and enjoy many years of riding. Unfortunately, due to human health issues, we were not able to follow through with that.

Throughout the years he has been exercised and groomed, enjoying every bit of attention.  On the few occasions he has been in a horse trailer he did great.  He will stand to be brushed without tying, and doesn't mind his feet being handled.  It doesn't take much to keep the weight on him.   I guess you can say he's an “easy keeper”.  He also gets along well with other horses.

Over the years I have taken him on walks up and down the street, he takes in all the sights and sounds with much interest, showing no fear in anything, even noisy, big trucks as they zoom by.  His body is sound and strong and with the right person to work with him, he has lots of riding years left in him.

Unfortunately, due to changing family circumstances and with a heavy heart, I need to find a new home for Cisco.  I know that if he were to be with someone who could work with him,  he would quickly become a good riding horse.  He would also make an excellent companion horse as he loves to have other horses around him.  He is such a good boy and will make an excellent buddy for someone.
