From one of her recent caregivers; "This mare is one of the finest horses (regarding personality and mind) I've met,  totally “together” mentally and socially.  She is well-bred, good looking, and well-trained.   She has perfect ground manners, is safe to handle, and is well-socialized with other horses.  She is polite to all humans but enjoys some more than others  (she shows this by being more open and affectionate).  She does show signs of being handled roughly in the past,  in that she can respond anxiously to sudden strong cues by getting tense and moving quickly to obey.  She performs best with quiet, subtle handling.
     ‘Daisy' spent several months at my barn.  While there she met a variety of people and I observed her with the hoof trimmers, chiropractor, bodyworker, and trainer as well as barn manager and outside caretakers.  I bathed and groomed her without any problem.  She was pastured with various geldings and managed them without conflict.
