Irish is an 18 yr old 15.2 hand registered half Arab. Irish
and his mother Sassy (she is 21) would have to go
together to their forever home. I can let them go
if I know they are together.
My husband usually rode Irish while
I rode Sassy, but the half dozen times I rode him
I could have shut my eyes and wouldn't have known
which horse I was on.
They are the first to greet everyone
who comes to Talawind and I truly believe Irish's
main purpose on this earth is just to love and be
loved—like the song.
He watched every day and every time,
through the panels of the round pen, as we started
our first four babies on groundwork and under saddle,
as if to say, “When is it MY turn?” When it was his
turn, he already knew most of it and was a breeze
to start. |
