Starlit is 20 and 16 hands TB. She is a nice riding horse; calm and gentle and smart. A great candidate for a young persons first horse and a good horse for family riding as well. Sound and healthy. (She has been with Deliah -see on list- for over a decade - but they can be separated.)

Update Sept 1: "I worked with both mares today, both on the ground and in the saddle.  Starlit did not understand what I was asking her to do on the lunge line and then this light bulb went off and she said, “oh yes – I remember this” and off she went.  She was excellent.  Seemed to really enjoy the attention, hooks right on.  Her ground manners are good - she is obedient.  She accepted the bit readily but fussed and fiddled with it for some time. My guess is, it’s been a long time since she’s been ridden.  She was just fine under saddle, calm, and responsive. She understands what you want and aims to please.  Stops easily, backs up, etc. Very smooth trot."

Update Dec 4: She has been ridden regularly and is in good condition - ready for spring trails!

When she was first surrendered last summer

Starlit Dec 4 2011. She has a funny "Bewitched" thing she likes to do with her mouth.

Starlit in her winter fur Dec 2011. Nice topline! She had been ridden regularly and is in good shape for spring!

Is that a musical note on her forehead??
