Tante came in from the Petaluma auction. He was a little thin. In just a week his hips have filled out considerably. This is him in his winter coat just after his arrival last January.

He has pretty good conformation. He has since been wormed and vaccinated. And he has been introduced to his first bowl of mash. That was a no-brainer for Mr. Tante.....

He has had a couple of starts at saddle training but no consistent efforts have been made.

Tante will need a kind and gentle trainer to help him be the kids horse he was meant to be. Trails and 4H should be in his future. A very luxurious mane and tail - the kind the kids love to cuddle in. A loving and lovely spring project.

"Oh this is good stuff! I love this restaurant - and the views are spectacular!"

Little Tante gets his chance: a young man is looking for a project and the two connect right away. From being discarded with no care or training at the Petaluma auction to a life being trained as proper riding horse by his own young person. I bet he does very well indeed! Thank you to NorCal Equine Rescue for hosting him and finding him this home!
